Building a true farm-to-glass craft distillery means playing strictly by nature’s rules—and this past year gave us a bit of everything. From a fluke May freeze that wiped out our orchard to five relentless heatwaves and unexpected commissioning delays, the land tested us at every turn.

But every setback has only sharpened our focus. With our grain harvested and our distillery tours officially open, we are standing on the very edge of firing up our copper stills to produce our inaugural English whisky. Before those first official runs begin, we are holding space for those who want to stand with us from day one through The 1086 Club.

Construction of our visitor centre has begun, and we’ve harvested our first crop from the orchard! Plus, stay tuned for our limited edition Spiced Plum Liqueur, launching at December markets.

Exciting times at Aedda’s Farm Distillery! Construction of our visitor centre starts soon, with plans for our distillery by Spring 2025. We’re also developing a festive plum liqueur and exploring cherry creations.

We’ve officially ordered our distillery equipment and are set to start building on the farm! Our orchard is thriving, and while weather slowed our barley plans, we’re exploring alternatives with local farmers. Exciting times ahead, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon!
